Red Alert is a phone messaging system anyone can use. We have over 50 neighbors on this list. It’s designed so that if anyone sees illegal activity (someone getting into cars, or a break-in, or something similar) you can call a number and leave a message that instantly goes out to everyone on the list as a voice message – similar to a telemarketing call. We’ve used this only a few times over the summer, once when a neighbor was attacked by a loose pit bull, and another time when a police chase ended up on foot through our neighborhood.
